East Atlanta Strut

Ever so fond of fun community events, the neighborhood of East Atlanta celebrates its own one-day festival that focuses the spotlight on music and the arts. Dubbed the East Atlanta Strut, this event features a number of great local bands and artists as well as a variety of activities that cater to everyone. The East Atlanta Strut is more than just a day of partying and having fun though. Its bigger goal is to raise funds that will benefit charities and non-profit organizations. The event also aims to support small businesses in the East Atlanta neighborhood.

If you're into athletic events or you just want to challenge yourself physically, then you may join the five-kilometer run/walk of the East Atlanta Strut. Who knows, you may even win and clock in a local record. The Strut also features a parade, a silent auction, and a wide selection of food booths. There's also a Kids Village that features activities for the little ones.

Charities and non-profit organizations who want to become beneficiaries of the East Atlanta Strut may file for grant applications. The Strut also calls for volunteers who are available to help out in the various stages of preparation for the event. Interested vendors, performers, artists, sponsors are also welcome to participate.
